Tired of the files. Swp and ~ created by the infestation came to my directories. Simply edit the settings file editor (. _vimrc Vimrc on Linux and Windows) by placing the following:

" liga o backup
set backup
" Aonde gravar os arquivos de backup
set backupdir=c:\temp
" Onde gravar os arquivos temporários
set dir=c:\temp

To specify a different location. Replace c: \ temp for the directory you want.
