Green video in Windows Media Player

Comments

Finally! For months, I visited some sites and / or video via the embedded media player in your browser, or pulled it apart and see, and the video suddenly turned green, and the computer, every nerd.

To fix is simple: right-click on your desktop, choose Properties (small window to appear in Display Properties), then Settings and Advanced.

In "Troubleshooting" at one point decrease video acceleration, and then click Apply. Try to see the video turns green, if it happens again, one more point decrease in the accelerated video and even play right.

I had to lower colon, but it worked.

valeu aew aki guy ran in ksa, but I was pissed cuz I had to download three points q
  • I solved this by changing some settings in green PC.
And for anyone left in doubt has nothing to do with codecs or codecs too much, for using the k-lite full and I am always with the latest version installed. Here's the solution:
In Media Player Classic go to Option (o)> Playback> Output, then select: VRM9 (Renderless) ** and ** for DX9 RM and QT video. Will solve more of what happens, the MPC will just use another mode, video out, the DX9. So if your video to be stopping or catching recommend using JetAudio, because it simply that you uncheck the option to use DirectShow-only files "mov, qt. He stopped to catch, but very little in return reduces the quality since qt files are generally high-quality videos.
Ah, the JetAudio go to Settings> (Ctrl + P) File> DirectShow Options, Advanced tab, then uncheck the options you want.

Only it has a problem there! If you decrease the hardware acceleration, there is an impairment in viewing movies, shows, etc on DVD, the picture is locked! I noticed this green screen problem, occurs in general those who use widescreen lcd monitor, and view videos on the web, you have to reduce the video resolution down to 1440x900. Deep down, nobody knows why the problem!
  • Boooooo! Very good! I was searching the solution long ago! Thanks!

    Hi Abcoon,

Unfortunately, I have no idea. You know what's worse? I had Windows XP SP2 installed on my computer with a Geforce FX 5500. I did upgrade the video card to a Geforce 7600 GS, I reinstalled the entire operating system, and the problem continued! I had to "slow down" the video to work. Weird right?

Had the same problem and your tip funcionou.Obrigado.
However what I found strange that the acceleration of video from my PC was previously set to the max, with five lines and had to bend down to two strokes to get to run the video image. In propia bar that regulates acelerção as will moving the cursor and changing the speed and reported below in a text type of use. Here's what he talks about leaving the 2nd line that was the maximum that could be used to take picture and not the green screen.

    Two traits:

"Disable all DirectDraw and Direct3D accelerations. As well as the cursor and advanced desenho.Use this setting to correct severe problems with DirectX accelerated applications"

What may be happening with my machine that I have led both to download this video acceleration for two strokes before he used at most, five strokes?
My Pc and the assintura and uses the VGA model eVGA 6600GT (AGP). The overall temperature of the PC and voltages are both perfect.
What should I do to try to fix this problem that seems to be related with DirectX accelerated applications

    Thanks

    Abcoon
